If you’re looking for the best kind of doula love - the kind that can only be delivered by kin who know -

You’ve Just Met Your Sis.

  • Most mornings at dawn - rain or shine - I can be met at a trailhead in Mecklenburg County for a lovely and literal walk alongside. This is a beautiful time to move your body, and have casual + insightful conversations about matters of pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, motherhood, and the rich, everyday experiences of your journey and our collective.

This offering is for any Black woman journeying the childbearing continuum - with or without a birth support contract. I also walk with providers who care for birthing families - doulas, midwives, therapists, doctors.

  • Payment may be delivered via Zelle® or with any major debit or credit card (with 3% transaction fee per payment) - including with HSA or FSA cards - and processed through Stripe® and through Quickbooks®, plus Apple Pay option.

A monthly payment plan is available with $750 retainer fee due upon hire and full payment satisfied by your 36th expected week of pregnancy.

Most HSAs and FSAs reimburse for doula support, and some require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). Speak with your maternal health primary care provider (Midwife or OB/GYN) about providing such. Furthermore, if your insurance company covers all, or a portion of doula support fees, I can provide a detailed invoice (complete with my NPI and taxonomy code), certification documents, and a letter for services rendered.

Interested in another way to pay? Mother of Ease is a BeHerVillage Partner. You may add this Mother of Ease™ offering to your free BeHerVillage gift registry, and encourage your family and friends to gift you directly for the doula support you need.
